Divorced doesn't mean defeat. It is an opportunity to begin fresh, which Scarlet sets out to do as she moves to the small town of Sullivan's Island, SC. Her latent sexual desires surface and flourish as she rediscovers herself. A divorced women's book club was supposed to be like-minded women, but things aren't that easy in a small town.
