Clarinettist Alicia Maxwell had been heartbroken when her teenage sweetheart, drummer Ian Brown, moved away. Now, years later, Ian has returned, and conducting a youth band together brings them even closer. When obstacles are placed in their path, Ian and Alicia muddle through the hurts of their younger years.
