Pine River was supposed to be a fresh start for me. And it was, except the moment I met Scout Raiden, I knew this year wasn't going to be the healing year I'd hoped to have. An up and coming MMA fighter, he was a golden god with dark and piercing eyes—looking like he wanted to eat me up. It was lust-want-must have-loathing-hate all at once.
